What teachers are saying

★★★★★

“This is one of the best purchases I have made for my classroom. I was really looking for a resource that was chapter specific, since Esperanza Rising has long chapters and lumping too many chapters together was not realistic. That is what I was finding in other resources I looked at. If you are considering purchasing this resource, please do!! This resource is comprehensive. My students loved it. I really wish there were more choice for other novels, I would purchase again!”

★★★★★

“I always give this my students as independent work on a weekly checklist. I like to align the dates so the students have a real-world comparison. This seems to get them excited about the National days coming up and gives them a conversation starter at home and at school.”

Illustration of Michelle, creator of Digital Ink Basket

Hi,

I’m Michelle, the teacher author behind Digital Ink Basket! Believe it or not, I was that kid in elementary school who could never remember what she just read. Many years later, now I have an MA in English and run a store full of reading resources, WHO KNEW!

Somewhere along the way, something just clicked, and I’ve been obsessed with figuring out how to make that happen for other kids ever since. I never want other kids to feel the way I did about reading.

When I’m not doing that, you’ll find me baking, at an escape room, playing board games, or on the couch watching our favorite shows with my husband.
